Reflection on simulation and modeling 
In this course I had learnt about the simulation and modeling. Simulation is the process of designing a model of a real system and conducting experiments with this model for the purpose of either understanding the behavior of the system and/or evaluating various strategies for the operation of the system. Modeling is about building representation of things in the real world and allow idea to be investigated, it is the central to all activities in the process for building or creating an artifact of some form or other. During this course my friend and I are given an assignment by our lecture. We had chose topic of digestive system to demonstrate the digestive simulation. The use of simulation during teaching and learning process is very interactive and gives many advantages. The using of simulation give us to model complex system in a detail way. Beside that, we can describe the behavior of the system and can use the simulation to predict future behavior that is the effect that The advantage of using these simulation through my experience on using it are:
·         It can avoid danger and loss of life. This is because some of the scientific concept in science are dangerous to done with the experiment.
·         Beside that the condition also can be varied and outcomes investigated.
·         By having simulation and modeling the critical situation during do experiment can be investigated without risk.
·         Simulation and modeling are also cost effective. Using these are not too expensive.
·         Simulation can be speed up so behavior can be studied easily over a long period of time. Such as the study of human growth.
·         Simulation also can slow down to study the behavior more closely, for example the stdudy of nuclear fission and fusion, impact of accident and other.
Using simulation and modeling also have their disadvantages such as:
·         It can be expensive to measure how one thing affect another, to take the initial measurement and to create the model itself.
·         Beside that to stimulate something, understanding is needed and an awareness of all the factors involved, without this a simulation cannot be created.
In conclusion using simulation and modeling in teaching and learning process are really help student. Student can understand and see clearly what happen during the process or chemical reaction that take place. I hope when I at school in future I can apply using this simulation and modeling during teaching process.
